About the event
A sukkah is a temporary tent erected during the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. It is a symbol of God's protection and harvest. When the sukkah is finished, it can be furnished with furniture, decorations and food. Sukkot is a family festival celebrated with food, drink and prayers.
We will erect and decorate them in the tent opposite the Dresden-Neustadt synagogue. Materials are provided, but we are also happy to receive new ideas and souvenirs.
