Made a stranger - by and through whom? On the question of proximity and home - I am made a stranger by my counterpart. I am not a stranger in isolation, but rather in distinction to another person or group. I feel a stranger because I don't (yet) belong. I am made a stranger because I'm not supposed to belong. How do we achieve integration, and what role do we play as religious communities?
