About the event

Pesach, also known as Passover, is a High Holiday that commemorates our liberation from slavery in Egypt and represents the founding myth of our community. The festival lasts seven or eight days and begins on the 15th of Nissan in the Jewish calendar. During Passover, unleavened bread called matzah (or matzah) is eaten to symbolize the hasty exodus of the Israelites. The festival includes the Seder meal, where the Haggadah, a narrative scripture, is read to share the story. Passover is a time for reflection, communal celebration and revitalization of Jewish identity. It's about generations learning from each other.
